The Three Men Who Vanished Out Of The Sky — Cessna 185 (1969)

In 1969 three men literally vanished into thin air.

On November 20th, 1969, John W. Burton was flying a Cessna 185 from Oxford House to Island Lake in Manitoba.

John was a 27-year-old described as standing 6' and weighing 203 lbs. John, along with two other passengers, intended to land in Green Hill inside the Green Hill First Nation Reservation.

The first passenger was Clifford Dowson, a 54 or 55-year-old man, who stood 5' 8" and weighed 163 lbs. The second passenger was Edward Flett, a 22-year-old man, described as 6' tall and weighing 165 lbs with a slender build.

Around 11 a.m. John W. Burton completed a call stating that they would touch down in Garden Hill within 15 minutes.

The airplane never landed in Garden Hill and no wreckage or remains were ever found.

John W. Burton was born in 1942 and would be in his mid to early 80s today.

Edward Flett was born in 1947 and would be in his mid to late 70s today.

Clifford Dowson was born in the early 1910s and would be 108 years old today.
