Updating Hospital’s Recording System

PROBLEM- COMPUTERISING THE MANUAL SYSTEMS(Assignment)

While interning at a renowned hospital, i noticed that their medical department wasn’t completely operating through computerised systems. By this i mean is they used to record everything manually on a register, be it be the names of the patients, charges by the doctor, charges of the hospital, occupancy of the room and scheduling appointments. This not only takes a lot of time of the employees to record, be precise about their billings and if they have to check/find something that becomes a nightmare (reason being everything needs to be searched manually than being a click away).

SOLUTION- I propose is to computerised these manual systems. Develop high tech systems with latest software, which not only records everything but updates the charges as well as the occupancy of the rooms. This will not only make the billing process quick but very authentic. Even if some changes need to be made in the charges, occupancy of the rooms or billing this can be done very easily by editing the record. Not only this but it will also save time in finding any record at any day or time of a year (instead of looking through bundles of books).
