iPhone 8 What We Know So Far

With the iPhone 8 (or whatever its going to be called) on the verge of making its first appearance, lets take a moment to reflect on what we know so far on the iPhone 8.
First of all, it is most likely that the iPhone 8 will not include everybody's favourite Touch ID, but as most of us know, it is rumoured that Face ID is replacing Touch ID. So, lets dive into all the rumoured goodies.
Rumoured Specs:
- 5.8 inch 2.5D OLED edge-to-edge display
- 71 x 143 x 7.4mm
- Wireless charging support
- Apple A11 Chip
- Rear facing Touch ID sensor
- Face ID
- Vertical dual cameras on rear
- Support for LTE speeds up to 450 Mps
Rumoured colour options:
- Black
- Silver
- Rose Gold
- Copper
The iPhone 8 will be the most expensive iPhone yet, the reason is, Apple is including an OLED display, and mainly because they can jack up the price to their desires. The estimated cost is around $1,100 — $1,200 (USD), and most likely a 128GB and 256GB option only.

The main design that we have been seeing lately, is most likely what the final design is going to look like. There are many sources that confirm this such as case companies, unlocked coding from iOS 11 Beta, ect.
There has been more interesting rumours such as the front facing camera (selfie camera) being the same quality as the rear side camera. This would be very interesting indeed. This feature would be absolutely great for vloggers that need to see what they're are shooting, and whats in frame. I myself am a vlogger, and I film with my iPhone 6s, it can get a bit frustrating at times when I think I have filmed something perfectly, and then find out that the shot is upside-down or I didn't get something right in the frame. So if this feature becomes a reality, I will be very happy about this, and i’m sure a lot of vloggers will be too.
Also, Augmented reality (AR) will play a big part. As we have seen in the past, there has been a small development in AR, the most popular result of this is, Pokémon Go. Its really good to see that Apple is very interested in experimenting with AR, and it will be very exciting to see what they can create using it.
