NBA Finals Logo Edit

In this 2022-23 NBA Playoffs, the Miami Heat are now referred to as the Cinderella team because they have made it to the NBA Finals with their 8th seed status in the regular season. The Denver Nuggets have definitely evolved to become an elite team in this league as they effortlessly surpass the Western Conference. Both teams are unique and more than capable of becoming champions.

The Miami Heat has played through multiple hardships while earning their chance at the NBA Championship. Many injures have occurred during their playoff run as Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo sit out due to injures. Multiple sprained ankles also made players sit out of games occasionally. Despite their challenges, they have become an elite match-up for any opponent who stands in their way.

Meanwhile, the Denver Nuggets as the 1st seed on the Western Conference has defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in a sweeping victory with a 4-0 run in the Western Conference Finals. This would be the Denver Nuggets' first appearance in the NBA Finals. Much credit goes out to the dynamic duo Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray as they play with great confidence getting their teammates involved in every game. The Denver Nuggets are stacked with many players who contribute to making an elite team.

This 2023 NBA Finals will be an exciting match-up because nobody expected the Miami Heat to make it to the NBA Finals. While the Demver Nuggets have been favored throughout the playoffs.

In the first quarter, the Nuggets dominated the floor as they created mixed matches in offensive transition. Nikola Jokic was able to get his teammates involved in this quarter while building their confidence down the stretch.

The Heat had a lot of nice looks at the basket, but were not able to connect.

With Miami’s resilience, anything can happen. But, if Denver Nuggets continue to play in this dominating fashion, then they will have the upper hand.

Miami Heat took more jump shots than lay ups and could not get a rhythm going as the game continued. Bam Adebayo led the Heat with 26 points.

Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic led their team with a total of 53 points. Which is nearly half of the Nuggets scoreboard.

Denver Nuggets played with force and were fantastic in game 1. Jokic had a triple double and led the Nuggets to their very first win in the NBA Finals.

This is history in the making for the Denver Nuggets as we continue to see their brilliance on the NBA court.

The Miami Heat will need to play with more aggressiveness if they want a chance to win this series or let alone a single game.
