We decided to punt the installation and onboarding redesign to the next release to avoid delaying the release of Juno further. It will be a major focus of the next release cycle, likely arriving in a 5.1 update :)

We’re doing our best to get a Beta out ASAP. There are still some major regressions to deal with but we should have something available soon

Not for some time. There’s a lot of work that needs to be done first. I’d like to make it a priority for the next major release after Juno

At the moment we only support integer scaling and all displays must use the same scale. We won’t be able to have non-integer scaling or multiple scales until we get to Wayland

I’ve been thinking about trying to pick up an ultra wide. I haven’t heard any reports about them at all. What kind of issues are you facing?
