Dogs: How they up your productivity!

Y’know, sittin’ here, listening to Storytellers’ records, having my best bud, Frosty The Dog lay asleep in my lap, actually writing, makes me feel good.

There he is now! C’mere, Frost! C’mere!

Frosty and I walk around frequently. Walkie-Buddies.

Yeah, I’m alone. I’m stuck at my home in Florida. And I’m not really anybody’s favorite. But as Dogs For Depression has so skillfully proven, dogs actually relieve stress and decrease depression! Lookit up!

I have no doubt in believing that West Highland Terriers, like all dogs,
“will help provide emotional support by being their affectionate, loyal selves.”

After all, like dogtime.com quotes, “brimming with self-confidence, the wee white one is affectionate yet independent.

Basically, on a personal level, I see my canine counterpart as a brother. Not older nor younger, but a twin who knows how it is, and is willing to cheer me up so long as I’m around for him in turn. But even then, when I’m mad and I don’t want to spoil his already-suburban life, he’ll treat me to a doggy-face lick and embroil me with joy as I smile at one of God’s most precious gifts, companionship.

Look around you! People all over are very sad because they have problems. But people who are twice as sad probably don’t have anybody to listen to said problems!

So if you have a best bud, a gal pal, a lover, or even a parent, full disclosure, I’m pulling a J.K. Simmons right now and letting you a moment to CALL AND TELL THEM THANK YOU. As well as the following:

  • Thank you for being there for me.
  • For putting up with my faults and excuses.
  • For thinking of me even when I’m not of you.
  • For allowing me to help you with your problems, near and dear as well as far and ajar.
  • You truly make a difference in my life and believe me if you will, Ripley…
  • …I will remember your name on my deathbed.

Everyday’s thanksgiving for a best friend. Peace, Love & Granola.
