YES! After researching the subject of “engagement” in the mordern workplace, I came to the same conclusion. Maslow is king, and these perks (e.g. ping-pong, catered lunches, dogs at work, etc.) are not the keys to engagement. Thanks for so articulatly illucidating this issue.
