As we approach the third and final month of our V3 test, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our champion MMO experts for your invaluable help during this test phase. Your efforts in slaying countless game bugs have been nothing short of heroic!
Now, without further ado, we’re thrilled to share all the exciting new in-game items that await you:
Join the Templar Order or the Inquisition!
You now have the choice to serve either the Templar Order or the Inquisition. By completing tasks given in their quests, you will earn faction coins. These coins can later be exchanged for unique, faction-specific gear. This gear will significantly impact your offensive and defensive skills, giving you a strategic edge in your adventures.
The gear you acquire will also affect your access to certain game areas. Simply put, the higher the rank of your gear, the more trust you will gain within your faction. This trust will unlock new doors and lead you to even greater adventures!
New NFTs Available in the Test Level:
- Epic Druid Ring: Significantly boosts your druid’s magical skills.
- Legendary Silverdrake Mirror: Requires substantial witch hunting to craft. This mirror reveals hidden passages filled with treasures and a touch of terror.
- Venomous Spider: Avalon’s first battle companion. Ideal as your support for exploring the island’s darkest parts alone, spiders also serve as excellent scouts. Press “N” to turn on companion menu.
Hints for Acquiring New NFTs:
- Epic Druid Ring: Defeat the dwarf goblin located in the hunting grounds.
- Venomous Spider: Has a chance to drop when defeating giant spiders at the hunting grounds .
- Legendary Silverdrake Mirror: Collect four pieces inside the large beach cave located at the shores of Oceanheim.
Avalon Tavern Test Opening:
Avalon Tavern will open for all testers on July 1st and will remain open for one week. We’ve prepared a true feast for your eyes (and maybe your taste buds, if virtual feasting were a thing). We ask you to submit your wildest ideas and suggestions to create the most memorable gathering space. For now, we want you to enjoy the beautiful grounds, explore the spa rooms, practice your bow skills, and dance with our band of happy goblins. Yes, you read that right — dancing goblins!
We’ll dedicate a whole separate article to the Tavern once its full functionality arrives. Just remember, what happens in the Avalon Tavern, stays in the Avalon Tavern… unless it’s really funny, then feel free to share!
Avalon’s World Expansion
As we already mentioned, the shimmering islands have been created in the genesis map and will soon be accessible for players to uncover the legendary secrets they hold. However, our team has been hard at work and will be opening the following world maps solely for exploration:
1. Camelot Castle:
- A vast map and a future capital. Camelot Castle will serve as the central hub for players, filled with grand architecture and numerous quests. Beware, this area will be an active PvP zone, so always be aware of your surroundings, as death can come swiftly in every castle chamber.
2. Castle Perilous:
- Known for its deadly tests and enchantments, Castle Perilous is a location tied to the quest for the Holy Grail and other knightly adventures. Here’s a sneak peek at some upcoming test quests:
- Rescue Missions: Sir Percival’s adventures at Castle Perilous sometimes involve rescuing maidens or fellow knights trapped within its walls. These challenges test his knightly virtues and resolve.
- Lancelot’s Trials: Sir Lancelot, another prominent knight, also faces trials at Castle Perilous. In some versions of the legend, his love for Queen Guinevere is tested through the challenges posed by the castle’s enchantments and traps.
The castle maps will be opened only for early test and exploration purposes with very limited functionality.
