During the Easter weekend, we bid a fond farewell to Avalon Alpha V2. After 210 published versions, the time came to close the kingdom’s gates. But fear not, for Avalon Version 3 is on the horizon, ready to welcome back our seasoned adventurers and new players fortunate enough to secure one of the limited 500 technical tester invitations .
V3 marks our final technical test before we conclude the alpha phase and transition to the public beta, alongside our early access partnership with Epic Games.

More Immersive World: As the old sayings go, “Winter is coming…,” “The storm is upon us…,” and “Beware of the lightning…” Our new weather system is set to completely transform Genesis Island into a breathtaking spectacle. Experience a true winter wonderland and witness stunning storms complete with lightning and thunder — headsets strongly recommended for the full immersive effect.
Advanced Battle Companions: Ever wished your spider could guard your home or attack enemies on your behalf? Consider your wish granted. Avalon V3 introduces advanced battle companions to aid you in your quest for glory.
Advanced Battle Mounts: You read that correctly. A new class of large battle mounts is making its debut. Command your battle pets while mounted on these formidable creatures. Picture the astonishment on the orcs’ faces as a team of heroes charges into battle atop giant trolls.
Quest Journal: The long-awaited quest system is here, complete with progress save and waypoints. Never lose track of your adventures or your achievements with this handy new feature.
Compass System With Waypoints: Given the expansive world of Avalon, navigating the dark forests and avoiding the black wolves at night can be daunting. Our new compass system, complete with waypoints, ensures you’ll never lose your way again.
Reward Auto Delivery: Engaging with world bosses, completing major quests, or unlocking Epic chests now come with the chance of an EPIC GEAR drop. Better yet, these rewards will be delivered directly to your inventory and connected game storage, ensuring your treasures are always at hand.
Play With Your New Legendary Test Hero
Among the cascade of updates and enhancements coming to Avalon, one in particular stands out — a feature many of you have eagerly anticipated. We are thrilled to announce that owners of the Inquisitors and Templar Grand Master heroes can now breathe life into their characters, venturing through Avalon with the ability to save their level progress.
This significant update marks the inaugural test of our character metadata system. To ensure a smooth integration, we’ve initially capped the level save feature at a maximum of Level 20. This decision was made not only to fine-tune the system but also to maintain a level playing field for our community members still awaiting the minting of their class-specific characters.
The introduction of playable heroes is a milestone we’ve all been looking forward to. For those who have cherished and held onto their heroic avatars for over a year, this update promises countless hours of adventure and joy. We can’t wait for you to experience the deeper immersion and personal connection to the world of Avalon that comes from adventuring with a character uniquely yours.
Glastonbury Village and Shimmering Islands
