The Eagles second summer signing can now be confirmed as Mindaugas “Minde” Razma who will be rejoining the club. Minde’s first stint with the Eagles was a couple of years with the U18 team where he made great strides. The 19 year old Razma, a 6'4 forward will return after a brief spell in the NBDL with Kingston Panthers last season. Minde who was born in Lithuania moved to Scunthorpe as a youngster and is relishing the opportunity to play NBL Division 2 in his adopted hometown.

“I’m really excited to be playing for the Eagles again, it will be great to be on court in front of a passionate group of fans, I know that the Lithuanian community will be showing their support for the team.”

Razma gives the Eagles options in the front court, he has the ability to block shots and his athleticism gives him the ability to get out and run.

“Minde is a hard worker and will do the dirty work for the team when called upon, he was instrumental in our successful U18 seasons. He improved greatly over that time and we expect him to continue to improve.” — Ross Stafford

Razma joins Scott Richards as the Eagles summer signings continue to be confirmed. It promises to be an exciting season at The Pods as the Eagles dare to dream of a third successive promotion.

We’ll have more squad news in the coming days and weeks.
