Going back to Medium…also known as: How to Share your Medium Post on Wordpress…

I haven’t written on Medium in forever: moving part1, vacation, then moving part2…I didn’t really have time (isn’t this the excuse we always use?). But now that the beginning of the fall semester is approaching, I am back. My plan— I must have mentioned it — is to use Medium as a teaching tool in my beginner Italian class. Rather than doing a more traditional weekly review, my students will work in groups to blog about what they learned (of course, each group will have an assigned topic: for ex. “vocabulary,” “grammar rules,” “culture”…). So, while reviewing, they will also create contents accessible to other people who are learning Italian.

Now, my question is: What if I wanted to share this post on my teaching blog https://therealitalianjob.wordpress.com/ Apparently, I will only have to click on the Share button and choose “embed this post” from the drop-down menu. Ok. Trying right now…

So…if, once you publish your post, you click on Share you can only share on Twitter, FB or via email. Instead, I clicked on “More” (near the Share button) and I selected “embed story”. A new page with the embedded link opened and I copied that link on Wordpress. It worked :)
