Welcome back to the DAR Open Network Explained Series! Today, we’re diving into the second installment of this series focused on the Dalarnia Multiverse which will be divided into three parts.
For Dalarnia Multiverse Part 1, let’s talk about the heart of our gaming universe: Mines of Dalarnia. As mentioned in our previous article, Mines of Dalarnia serves as the founding star that sparked the birth of the entire multiverse.
Chances are, you’re already familiar with Mines of Dalarnia. So, instead of going over what you already know, let’s explore how this game fuels our entire ecosystem!
But for those who aren’t familiar yet, let’s take a quick peek at what Mines of Dalarnia offers through an infographic!
Now, let’s proceed to the most important parts.
Fueling the DAR Open Network Ecosystem
Mines of Dalarnia will serve as a crucial component that will drive the ecosystem. And to understand better, we have broken them down into details below:
- It will be the only game in the entire Dalarnia Multiverse where Dalarnia resources can be mined, making Miners the only ones capable of minting new resources.
- MoD resources will be utilized across various games and features throughout the Multiverse, such as Modbots, crafting items in Dalarnia Nexus, and more.
- Modbots will be the feature that will allow players to earn a percentage of the Multiverse revenue through a community revenue share system. And MoD resources are currently the only currency accepted to play Modbots.
What more?
Being the game that started it all, Mines of Dalarnia is also about using the new technology that Blockchain can offer to create games that bring people together. To make that happen, we focus on these important things:
- Fun to Play
While there’s much talk about the “Earn” aspect of “Play to Earn/Play and Earn” or the “Own” aspect of “Play and Own”,” we value the “Play” just as much. We believe that a game loved by many players cultivates a thriving in-game economy, making earning rewards even more satisfying.

- True Asset Ownership and Open Game Economy
In Mines of Dalarnia, with the help of blockchain technology, nearly every in-game item is owned by the players, allowing them to trade or give away as they wish.
Here, players have full control over not only their assets but also the game’s economy as no one else but players determine the value of items based on supply and demand. Supported by our native token $DAR, we aim to create a sustainable game economy that benefits Mines of Dalarnia and, hence its players.
To add on this, we are happy with the progress of our economy so far. Through continuous updates since 2023, our economy has become more stable than ever before and we aim to strengthen it even more with upcoming updates and improvements in development.
- Dalarnia Multiverse Interoperability
In relation to True Ownership and Open Game Economy, players will also be able to use their in-game assets in other games or platforms in the Dalarnia Multiverse.
As an example, Mines of Dalarnia items can be utilized as cosmetic items in Dalarnia Nexus. Keep an eye out for upcoming plans on the utilization of Mines of Dalarnia assets in other games within the Multiverse!
