A beautiful way of explaining how I felt entering high school. I already wanted to leave and just start doing music. I felt like nobody understood me back then and still today feel the same way.

Ignorance Is Bliss by Kendrick Lamar

This song really spoke to me when chaos was happening around my hood. Shooting happening almost every week and my childhood friend got shot in his leg. I had to see him go in a ambulance and luckily his child wasn’t hit. This song really displayed how that felt.

Switch up by Big Sean ft Common

This song made me really focus on the music more. I really started writing everyday and was waiting for the studio. I knew that if I focused I would get my time to kill the music industry.

Hol’ up by Kendrick Lamar

This song really helped me get through the days that were hard to just get out of bed. The crazy part was that I always wanted to top this song and envied Kendrick for making this. It also taught me to step up as an artist and start speaking out instead of keeping lyrics to myself.

Unforgettable by Drake

This song really got me to think about the legacy I want to leave in this world. I don’t want to just be known by my family, but by the world for the career path I’ve chosen. Music is international so I figured why mines can’t be.
