How to make your presentations look 10x nicer

Are you a student, who like myself, have to do presentations for your many university projects?

And well.. does your slides currently look like this?

To be fair, this slide serves its purpose. Clean, clear list of points, with good text-to-background contrast.

Even Airbnb does it, albeit with less words.

However, for those of you who wants to spice things up a little with your slides, this is what you can do:

1. Choose a nice background for your slide
2. Darken it (optional) — by inserting a black rectangle and adjusting its transparency
3. Add in your text

And that’s it!

A great background can improve the visuals of the slides and there are no lack of websites that can provide high quality stock photos. My personal favourite is Unsplash.
