That was my sophomore year at Nebraska. I still feel bitter about the Iowa State “more turnover than points” game. I still feel bitter anytime a game clock shows :01.
Then I remember everyone in the dorm checking to make sure you voted Suh for the Nissan Heisman fan vote (Nebraskans are excellent at voting in CFB online polls). I remember watching that Missouri game on our dorm floor, wondering what miracle Suh would preform next. And the national hype that started the next day.
That was a bitter season as a Cornhusker fan, but I’ll never forget what a joy it was watching him. He got our fanbase through that year and we thank him for it.
