How to configure your wallet to access your DXT

In this post we are going to give you an overview of how to configure your MyEtherWallet and Metamask in order to access your DXT.

In order to get started, you will need three key pieces of information to configure your wallet. These are as follows:

Contract Address: 0x8dB54ca569D3019A2ba126D03C37c44b5eF81EF6

Token Symbol: DXT

Decimals : 8

Let’s now take a look at the two different wallet types and how to configure them.

MyEtherWallet

MyEtherWallet provides a simple and dependable online interface for creating new wallets and managing transaction with existing wallets. These existing wallets can be hardware wallet based (e.g., Ledger or TREZOR), from other services like MetaMask, a Mnemonic Phrase, or a Keystore file. To configure MyEtherWallet to show your DXT tokens you:

Step 1: Go on https://www.myetherwallet.com/#view-wallet-info. Please verify that the certificate says MYETHERWALLET LLC in your URL bar.

Step 2: Select the way in which you want to access your wallet and connect to it

Step 3: Scroll down and on the right menu click on “Add Custom Token”. Fill the form with the token address, symbol, and decimals we have provided at the beginning of this article and click on “Save”. You can now view and interact with you DXT tokens!

MetaMask

MetaMask brings wallet management to your browser via a plugin (for Chrome, Firefox, Opera) It provides a secure identity vault, providing a user interface to manage your identities on different sites and sign blockchain transactions. To configure metamask to show your DXT tokens you:

Step 1: Open your Browser and MetaMask extension.

Step 2: Click on the “ADD TOKEN” button

Step 3: Fill the form with the data we have provided at the beginning of this article and click on “Add”. You can now view and interact with you DXT tokens!
