So instead of using visitors, users now have to rely on likes to gauge who is interested in them. Except you have to pay to see them. Funny, that.
In theory I could see how this is a good idea: if someone is interested in someone else, they should like/message them. Except people don’t seem to use the site this way: instead of treating ‘Likes’ as a Tinder-esque matching system, people refuse to use it and say “I can’t see likes, so message me instead”.
By making ‘Likes’ essentially a paid matching feature, the majority of users refuse to use it as intended. Any beta testing would have shown that.
