A prayer for Baltimore. A prayer for New York, for Ferguson, for Tulsa, for South Carolina, for Sanford, for America.
“When will the violence stop?”
When did it start? It didn’t start with Freddie Gray, it didn’t start with Mike Brown, it started long before that, and it’s not going to stop after Baltimore.
How do we tell people who feel their lives don’t matter that they shouldn’t riot?
How many more times will we watch this same story unfold?
How do we pray for Baltimore? What do we ask? How do we find justice?
I wish I knew. I wish I knew something I could do.
