The 2017 Crypto Rush — Token Sales

On 3rd August, the Asean Blockchain Community hosted an information session about token sales presented by David Moskowitz, CEO of, Rune Evensen, CEO of and Robin Lee, CEO of HelloGold.

With each company having an impending token sale, two having conducted pre-sales and the SEC rulings just announced, it was the perfect opportunity for the local blockchain community to get some insights into some details about conducting token sales.

SP Jain Singapore Campus

The event was held at the Singapore campus of the SP Jain School of Global Management. SP Jain have a number of campuses worldwide and are unique in offering an MBA program that requires you to study at three different campuses.

The event was kicked off by Anson Zeal, CEO of CoinPip and chairman of ACCESS, the Singapore Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Industry Association presenting the aims of the association.

David Moskowitz of shared some of the lessons that they had learned from the pre-sale experience. Pre-sales are becoming more common as a means to get larger investors involved early but stopping them from dominating the main public sale.

Rune Evensen of COSS.IO

Rune Evensen explained about ways to design a revenue model from your tokens. So soon after the SEC rulings, this proved to be of particular interest from people eager to stay on the right side of the law.

Robin Lee explained why HelloGold, an existing business to help those underserved by the banking and investment community, decided to extend its offerings into the crypto sphere to accelerate its mission.
