As a writer, your laptop is your best friend.

You’ll often find yourself spending more time with your laptop than you do with your family or friends.

There will come that time, however, when you notice that your old friend isn’t responding quite as quickly anymore. They don’t wake up easily in the morning, and you find yourself giving them a nudge before you head to make coffee and some breakfast knowing that when you return 10 minutes later, they’ll just be about ready to begin their day.

There’s also that unfortunate day when you wake up, and your friend doesn’t respond at all.

Yikes.

If you’re anything like me you’ll have done a bit of browsing in the past to see if there’s a laptop out there that could fit your needs. Only to be put off by the large helpings of jargon and tech-speak that you’re met with.
