I think the idea of earning equity instead of fee is not only brilliant, but also central to the future of work. Nassim Nicholas Taleb jokes that the three most harmful addictions are heroin, carbohydrates, and a monthly salary… Earning equity, and subsequently dividends, would solve this 200-year old problem of mistaking work for a job. Also might fit nicely with (or replace) the idea of universal basic income.
