I recently moved to Córdoba, Argentina as part of a year long journey of traveling and working. From the onset, it was clear: there would be dogs. Stray. Dogs. Everywhere.

This past Sunday, I was coming down off of a weekend high with a group of my fellow travelers on a return bus ride from a hike on Rainbow Mountain in Peru. It was an exhaustive experience — a 12-mile hike flanked by four-hour bus rides and a 3am pickup.
