Being an entrepreneur is not easy as entrepreneurs have to constantly deal with the fluctuating economy as well as a heap of competition. Other challenging situations such as dry spells and human errors can occur, as well. Despite those problems, an entrepreneur can still make it if he or she has the key elements of success. Positivity and intelligence are two elements that make an entrepreneurship succeed, but which one matters more?
What Is Entrepreneurial Intelligence

Entrepreneurial intelligence describes a series of attributes from having common sense, to having business degrees and executive-level experience. A certain level of intelligence is required for success as an entrepreneur. A business owner has to have a good sense of mathematics, marketing, advertising, overhead costs and demographic details. The person must be an above-average money handler and a quick problem solver. That being said, many entrepreneurs have succeeded without those aspects. Business owners sometimes join forces with people who have the qualities that they don’t have, and they let those people handle the heavy-duty operations. Still, an entrepreneur must have at least a sufficient amount of intelligence just to know that he or she needs such assistance.

The Importance of Positivity

Positivity describes an overall attitude about wide variety of subjects regarding the business. It describes a positive attitude about the business’s success in general, and it describes the way that the business owner interacts with the customers. A positive attitude can create loyal customers who will stay with the same business for decades. A positive attitude toward the company can carry the business through times of hardship and struggle. A business owner who is not positive will tend to give up on the business, and the business may crumble as a result. A business leader must always maintain a positive attitude so that employees have a positive feeling at all times.

Brains vs. Bubbles: Which One Is Vital?

If an entrepreneur could take only one attribute with him or her on the trip to success, that attribute should be positivity. An entrepreneur can make it with a low level of intelligence, but a business will crumble if no positive elements exist. Negativity in business is like a cancer that eats away at its foundations. Consumers want to know that they will have a positive experience when they visit an establishment. Positivity has to start with the owner.
