How to Submit a Video Question to “The #AskGaryVee Show.”

Hello everyone, D-Rock here. So as you all may know Gary Vaynerchuk has a new show, called The #AskGaryVee Show. On the show he is taking a ton of questions from people like yourselves. All you have to do is use the hashtag (#AskGaryVee) on twitter! Like below:

This is an example of how you can use the hashtag to ask Gary a question.

But this post is to go over the guidelines of how to submit specifically a video question. We’ve gotten a bunch of them…but we can’t use a lot of them because they are simply too long and a bunch of other factors…

These guidelines will help you have a better chance of getting your question onto the show!

Guidelines


  1. Keep the video 30 seconds or less.
  2. Try to keep it high quality (most iphones work) the audio is the most important, because this is a podcast we don’t want to hurt the listener’s ears. You don’t need a mic, a quiet room would work just fine. Do the best you can, we understand — not everyone is a filmmaker…
  3. Send us your twitter/handle. (Generally send us a link to whichever social channel you prefer.)
  4. State your name and what you do. This helps give us context.
  5. PLEASE…Keep it Under 30 Seconds. (I say this again, because it’s important.)
  6. Email the video questions to me (david) at drock@vaynermedia.com.

It’s that simple.

FAQ


Can I Make a Plug My Business in the Show?

Sure. You are allowed to “plug” but again there is a time constraint (30 seconds) so if “plugging” takes away from the time you ask your question, we’d much rather have a better question.

Can I Edit My Video?

Yes BE AS CREATIVE as you want. We like these types of questions. We love uniqueness and of course I have to say this, we love the hustle. ;)
