UBallot: The Form Factor

When we last left off I was trying to combat the sign up spam generated by a ‘kind’ UBallot user. Thankfully the incidence helped me up tighten up UBallot’s Sign Up process.

With this technical fire put out it was now time put some design effort behind the UBallot Sign Up page.

In turned out the form software I was using, JotForm, was too buggy and clunky for what I needed. I searched around before settling on Wufoo which allowed me to add the functionality and design I needed. ( Though Wufoo at its most basic level cost fifteen dollars a month.)

Some lessons learned. If you think your site can be broken it will be broken and buggy free software is never worth staying with.
