A Gift in the Mail

This morning l read the letter below from one of my favourite authors!

Years ago, back in College, l came across one of his books and have been a big fan ever since. I couldn’t put the book down. His style of writing was so out of this world and unlike any book l read before then. That season of my life was a special one, l was more of an observer than a writer. But l was so inspired, to be more, hunger for more! More of God and more wisdom to align with His will!

The phrase “Stay in your lane” sums up the letter below. But please do read it for yourself and be blessed as l was. Our uniqueness and definite purpose is the amazing gift God has bestow on each one of us.

What we decide to do with that treasure is our gift to History!

Shalom!

Hi Adaze,

Everybody gets a gift. And these gifts come in different doses and combinations. “Each person,” scripture says, “is given something to do that shows who God is” (I Corinthians 12:7). Our inheritance is grace-based and equal. But our assignments are tailor-made. No two snowflakes are the same. No two fingerprints are the same. So, why would two skill sets be the same? No wonder Paul said “Make sure you understand what the Master wants” (Ephesians 5:17).

Do you understand what your Master wants? Do you know what makes you, you? Have you identified the features that distinguish you from every other human who has inhaled oxygen? You have an “acreage” to develop, a lot in life. Scripture reminds us, “Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that” (Galatians 6:4).

You be you!
