First, some background on TotemFlare, Hypersign and finance.vote…

TotemFlare is a privacy-centric marketing tool that promotes community expansion whilst helping businesses whitelist and KYC their users and preventing malicious actors from participating and ensuring that user data is safe and secure.

It was launched as a joint venture between TotemFi and Hypersign; the two projects came together recently to pool their talent, expertise and resources to run the platform. Finance.vote are now introducing their trustless vesting platform bank.vote into the venture to make the reward distributions as efficient and user friendly as possible.

Now the introductions are out of the way, let’s talk about how you can get your hands on a share of our $16,000 giveaway!

How does the campaign work?

The prize pot totals $16,000 in tokens from some of the industry’s hottest projects. It consists of $2,000 in TOTM, $2,000 in HID, $2,000 in FVT, $2,000 in BUMP, $2,000 in L3P, $2,000 in CHAIN, $2,000 in METIS, and $2,000 in CUDOS!

The total prize pot will be split in half; $8,000 will be awarded to participants for completing a series of tasks through the TotemFlare platform, and $8,000 will be awarded as a goody-bag to all DeFi Live ticket holders who enter. The campaign will end on November 11th — the date of the physical DeFi Live conference — and the tokens will be able to be claimed from bank.vote shortly afterwards.

After completing your tasks you will be given a referral link. Share that link with your friends and family and when they sign up (with your link), you and your friends will both earn!

The bounty giveaway

There are some tasks that need to be completed. For each task you complete, you earn points. There are X tasks in total; each task is worth 10 points. If users complete all the tasks, equally X points, they’ll win a share of the $8,000 prize pot!

A users’ share of the prize pot is determined by how many entrants the giveaway receives; for example, if 100 users enter the campaign, their prizes will be $8,000 / 100 = $80 each.

For the reward distributions, it’s over to our friends at finance.vote; their trustless vesting and token distribution platform bank.vote will turn this already exciting part of the campaign into a fun and easy-to-play game. Simply go onto their platform, input the wallet address you entered for the campaign, and bank.vote will match you with a random token from one of our partner projects which your rewards will be paid out in!

Returning to the above example, if you’ve earned $80 dollars from the campaign, this could be paid to you in BUMP or TOTM, FVT or METIS — you’ll find out when you go to claim which leading DeFi token you’ll be the proud HODLer of!

The goody-bag giveaway

The second half of the $8,000 prize pot will go to DeFi Live ticket holders, and will be awarded as a goody bag shortly after November 11th — the physical day of the conference.

To enter the giveaway, there will be a section on the TotemFlare platform where you can simply input the ticket reference number you received from Eventbright when you bought your ticket. This can be found in the confirmation email you received for the event.

As with the bounty giveaway, the tokens your reward will be paid out in will be decided by random selection on the bank.vote platform; simply enter your wallet address which you used on the TotemFlare platform, and on the day of claiming you’ll find out if you’re now the owner of CUDOS, CHAIN, HID, or any of the other top tokens we’re giving away!

If you wish to enter the ticket holder goody bag giveaway but not the bounty giveaway, simply log into TotemFlare and fill in your ticket reference number in the specified field, and leave the other fields blank.

How to Win…

If you want to earn your share of tokens, all you’ll have to do is sign up to the TotemFlare portal with the following link: bit.ly/3GPU0Dv

Then follow the steps below:

• Click the link above, which will take you to the TotemFlare portal.
• Click ‘use web wallet’ and either log on with your name and email address, or press ‘continue with Google’ and sign in through that.
• This will take you to the task list — click the @DeFiLive_ which will take you to our Twitter page, and follow us (make sure your browser will allow pop ups) — the task will then be ticked off.
• Then click on “Tweet” on the next step, retweet and tag 3 friends, and paste your URL where asked below.
• Follow the same steps, completing the tasks for each project
• Click next.
• On the next page, enter your full name, email address, Twitter handle and Telegram handle.
• Then enter your Eth Metamask wallet address
• After you’ve done these tasks, click next on the TotemFlare portal and you have entered with full points! Good luck!

Terms and conditions:

• Campaign starts on 4th November.
• Campaign ends on 11th November.
• For each task completion you get 10 points
• For the bounty giveaway there are X tasks, with a combined total of X points
• Users must have all X points to claim a share of the bounty giveaway prize pool
• The tokens your rewards will be paid out in are decided randomly on the bank.vote platform; users will find out when they go to claim which tokens they will receive.
• The dollar value of distributions will be the same regardless of which token a users receives (although, as it’s crypto, these tokens are subject to asset price fluctuations so may rise or fall in value)
• Two of the projects sponsoring this event — Bumper and Chain — are pre-IDO. This means their tokens aren’t tradeable yet. If you receive BUMP or CHAIN as your reward tokens, these will become claimable after the tokens have launched
