Hi, DeHorizon metaverse Human!

It is exciting to see many active players battling in the DeVerse Internal Test I. We heard lots of friendly advice and suggestions during the internal test period to improve DeVerse. Providing an entertaining and immersive experience is one of the most familiar topics with our community. After the end-up of DeVerse Internal Test I, our technical team is serious about designing and optimizing the game.

Now, we are thrilled to show you the brand-new features just developed in DeVerse.

-3D Waiting Room

-Optimization of Matching Mechanism

-Text-chat Feature

-“Health Pack” Gameplay in “City of Dawn” Map

-Customize Your Keyboard Shortcuts

3D Waiting Room

After entering DeVerse, the first stop for players is the waiting room to choose the Numen and wait for the battle. In the updated version, we developed a 3D waiting room where you can wander around and communicate with your teammates. Besides texting and exploring, some surprises are left in the room for you. Mouse click to find them out!

Click the button on the right character column to select a Numen.

Put on the Artifacts you’ve acquired and get ready to snatch the gates from the enemy. Once everyone is ready for the battle, the Room creator can click the “MATCH” button to start matching.

Optimization of Matching Mechanism

The multi-room matchmaking mechanism will be supported in the new version to increase the matching efficiency. It means apart from the original room match mechanism, and the current mechanism will automatically match other players who click ‘MATCH’ to team up with yours for a quick battle.

For example, if there are only two players in your room, you can also click ‘MATCH’ button and we’ll find three other teammates to form a team with you which avoids long-time waiting.

*Matching will be stopped if someone in the room exits during the matching.

Text-chat Feature

There are currently four channels for everyone to have a communication, including World, System, Team, and Battle Channel.

World Channel is for all players in DeVerse.

System Channel is for the official announcement.

Team Channel is a private channel for players in the same team.

Battle Channel is for players and their teammates to discuss tactics. After entering the battle, your channel will automatically be the Battle Channel.

*Kindly notice: you can chat in both Team Channel and Battle Channel in a battle. But the Team Channel is for talking to your teammates only — it is suitable for tactics communication; the Battle Channel is for talking to everyone in the same battle.

Detected insults sexual and discriminatory content.

More updates about our social features will be released later.

“Health Pack” Gameplay

Obviously, health packs can help restore your HP.

  • 30 seconds after the battle starts, health packs will appear in three fixed places on the map.
  • 20% of the lost HP will be restored immediately when you hit on it.
  • Every Numen (both teammates and enemies) in a specific area will enjoy a 20% restore of the lost HP after 3 seconds of the hitting.
  • All the Health packs that got hit on will disappear and reappear after 120 seconds.

Customize Your Keyboard Shortcuts

Now you can customize hotkeys as your favor. Find the “SETTING” button in the upper right corner of the main menu to get in the settings of hotkeys. Click to change key binding and play for fun!

💪 DeVerse Internal Test II is coming soon!

💗 Stay tuned for more updates.
