DeepBrain Chain recently announced at a meet-up in Germany that its DBC AI Training Net will go live on August 8th
On July 12th 2018, the world’s leading decentralized AI cloud computing platform DeepBrain Chain will host a joint meetup with RBVC at Stuttgart, Germany where representatives from famous European automakers, German universities and research institutes will talk about combined AI and blockchain’s applications in transportation, igniting discussions for the next generation of commuting.
Dr. Dongyan Wang, Chief A.I Officer and Dr. Hongquan Jiang, Chief A.I Consultant at DeepBrain Chain and Jane Wang, CMO of one.game, a DeepBrain Chain ecosystem partner will also be there to introduce the DeepBrain Chain project and its latest developments and showcase recent successful real-life AI training on its Testnet.
Early in June, DeepBrain Chain conducted 3 successful real-life AI training tasks on its Testnet. They are in the field of image recognition, using neural network to conduct MNIST handwritten number images recognition training; Natural Language Processing, using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model to conduct Chinese natural language text categorization; Data categorization and prediction, using Random Forest model to conduct categorization and prediction on users’ data.
Since 2012, demand for AI computing power has increased more than 300,000 times. Yet cost of computing power is a bottleneck constraining AI’s development. DeepBrain Chain promises to cut computing power costs by up to 70%, thus shortening products’ go-to-market cycle.
On June 23rd, Dr. Hongquan Jiang, partner at Robert Bosch Venture Capital GmbH (RBVC) announced he would serve as DeepBrain Chain’s chief A.I consultant. Over the past decade, Dr. Jiang has invested in IoT, AI, Reinforced Reality, Car and Blockchain and led RBVC’s investment in IOTA.
He said, “In an age when A.I. is taking off so quickly, DeepBrain Chain’s decentralized cloud service based on the blockchain can transform the whole A.I. industry dynamic, resulting in unprecedented efficiency,” said Dr. Jiang. “There will be many uses cases in the auto and IoT fields in particular. I’m honored to have the opportunity to witness and participate in the success of such a revolutionary business model.”
Representatives from Neckar Hub, e-Shelter datacenter, and the High-performance Computing Center at Stuttgart University will be invited to the meetup and the event will be livestreamed on Youtube at 17: 30 July 12th local time.
