Deepr Protocol Completes Successful Audit By HashEx
Deepr Finance is proud to announce that its smart contracts have been successfully audited by the renowned security auditing firm HashEx.
To ensure the secure use and trustworthiness of the Deepr platform, the security audit by HashEx involved a thorough review of the Deepr smart contracts code bases to identify potential security issues and to formally check the logic behind the platform.
The published results of this audit including the recommended changes and modifications implemented can be viewed here.
All smart contracts were tested against common attack vectors and the codebases were assessed to ensure compliance with current best practices and industry standards.
The preliminary audit report found 8 issues of which all pending modification suggestions one has yet to be resolved, as reflected in the final audit report.
The pending issue related to “Exaggerated owner’s rights” is marked as “Partially fixed”, and will be fully resolved once Deepr contracts are deployed on mainnet and Hashex verifies that the audited contracts are deployed without modifications and ownership is transferred to a multisig address controlled by KYCed signers.
The multisig committee will be assigned by the Deepr team and will consist of well known and trusted ecosystem actors.
Deepr Protocol is a fork of the multiple times audited Compound Finance protocol (“Compound”), to which public audit reports are available here. By forking Compound smart contracts Deepr inherits a lot of their security as Compound has been “battle-tested” meaning the code was deployed over 2 years ago and has secured a huge amount of TVL over this period of time.
