Corporate Innovation: When to Build and When to Buy

In my opinion, large corporations should act like startups in the way they favor and implement new ideas AND they should acquire startups as there is only so much a corporation is able to develop internally. 
Doing the former (acting as a startup) does not necessarily mean they should develop the technology in-house though. The change of mindset is necessary for these corporations to be familiar with what startups face and have them dare to reach out to the latter for collaboration.
