Not only is the subscription model more expensive for the customer with Adobe Creative Cloud (I don’t really care as my employer is paying that), all the new “features” are absolute rubbish. I use Premiere daily and let me say, there is nothing better than arriving to the office and finding out Premiere updated and lost perfectly working feature (the text titles) in favor of gaining some nonsense that should have never got past QA — the new “easy graphics”. Extremely user friendly window, where if you want to change text typeface you need to scroll trough menu of all your fonts that does not have scrollbar or the ability to search font name. Enjoy your five minutes clicking at arrow down symbol, looking for font named z-something.

Or the great, great closed captions feature that just breaks down on random, stops displaying all changes you make in the project monitor and you need to restart premiere to get some 10 more edits before it breaks again.

I move images around. Some would say I’m sci-fi geek and movie/TV fan in general. I adore clever videogame narratives. And yeah, I’ll call you kiddos.
