Legislators respond to State of the County Address

ALBANY (January 25th, 2018) — Several Albany County Legislators attended County Executive Daniel P. McCoy’s State of the County Address in the Times Union Center’s atrium on Thursday evening.

The Legislature’s new leadership team provided the following responses to the County Executive’s address:

Albany County Legislature Chairman Andrew Joyce: “The County Executive delivered an expansive and forward-looking agenda in his seventh State of the County address. I’m proud to see Albany County take the lead on issues such as equity, lifting people out of poverty, caring for our children and preventing opioid addiction. We in the Legislature look forward to working with the County Executive in the coming months to move many of these items forward.”

Albany County Legislature Majority Leader Gary W. Domalewicz: “The County Executive gave an inspirational address. We look forward to working with him in the coming year to implement the programs he discussed. Curbing the opioid crisis in Albany County is certainly one of my priorities.”
