This may well be true, maybe ideas don't count, but if they don't why do so many people and organizations concern themselves with innovation? There are many books and articles written on the subject, on how to improve the flow of ideas, how to find more ideas? If ideas don't count, then why waste your time on that, rather than the process after an idea is created?
