Who’s teaching boys to be men?
The Angry Therapist

Well done, I remember a scene in the wake of one of the Watts riots when Jesse Jackson and Bill Bennett were being filmed walking down a street in Watts talking about what could be done to improve the quality of life in poor communities. Jackson went on about jobs and benefits, Bennett waved an arm at the groups of men standing around and said to Jackson “ Jesse if you want real change tell those men to go home to their wives or mothers of their children. Boys grow to be men by watching other men that is a fact and in single parent households that single parent can not be both parents no matter how hard they try.

If you take the father role away boys will find another alpha to follow and it might not be a good alpha.
