I have seen people retire and frequently they pass away shortly thereafter. However, the reason many don’t stop working after retirement is due to the fact they have to continue to work at a second career job or they have to work at a part time job in order to live any type of quality of living. There are studies that show people who continue to work at another job or have an intense time consuming hobby, live longer than those retirees who don’t.
