The Blockchain Summit 2018 will be attended by many experts from the blockchain industry from Russia. The key speaker of the Summit is Elina Sidorenko, the head of the interdepartmental group for evaluating the risks of cryptocurrency circulation of the State Duma (Parliament) of the Russian Federation.
She will explain the official position of the state in Russia and in foreign countries regarding the use and regulation of digital assets and its prospects in the report: “Lawsuit in the field of digital economy and digital assets.”
The main topics for discussion on the Siberian Blockchain Summit 2018 will be:
● The introduction of blockchain technologies in real business.
The leading trend in the development of the blockchain industry is the integration of smart contracts into traditional business by using them in an increasing number of software products. The blockchain technology covers all new sectors of the economy, including not only financial transactions, but also real estate and intangible asset transactions, verification of personal data, delivery organization, big data processing, etc. The blockchain technology allows the parties of the transaction to track data at each stage, which automates protection against fraud and significantly reduces time and resources, ensuring that instant transactions are carried out under certain conditions and independently of the actions of the third parties.
● State regulation of blockchain industry.
The blockchain industry is gradually coming to the conclusion that in order to resolve disputes and disagreements between the parties of the transaction in the digital economy, it is necessary to bring new legislation into force. In particular, we are talking about the development and functioning of decentralized currencies, which require the formation of some kind of superior dispute oversight body. Before creating a blockchain system, business partners will have to adopt certain rules of the game, the execution of which the arbitrator can follow. However, how exactly this request of the industry will be realized is not yet fully known.
● Tokenization of real business and development of cryptocurrency ecosystems in demand.
Watching the rapid growth of the crowdfunding industry based on the blockchain in 2017 and 2018, representatives of many business sectors are seriously thinking about raising funds for the development of their businesses via cryptocurrencies. However, when organizing crowdfunding through the ICO mechanism (Initial Coin Offering), it is necessary to understand that in order to succeed, the project token should be in demand at specific stages of the production of marketable products. The speculative rush situation of 2017 is over — and now it’s time not only think about a universal economic model of using cryptocurrencies as an alternative to fiat money, but also to evaluate and explain the meaning of using blockchain technology in a particular business, its feasibility and effectiveness for customers.
The Descrow team invites everyone to join the discussion of the prospects of the blockchain industry and the introduction of blockchain technology in business and public administration as part of the Siberian Blockchain Summit 2018, which will take place from 2 to 4 November 2018 in Krasnoyarsk on the basis of Siberian State University named after M.F. Reshetnev.
