Descrow will take part in the international blockchain technologies consortium
The Descrow platform became a participant of the International Research and Industrial Consortium for the implementation of the National Technologic Initiative (NTI) in the area of blockchain technology.
Descrow joined the international community of universities, industrial and innovative enterprises, aimed at conducting the most advanced research and development in the area of digital economy and blockchain technology, as well as their implementation into modern business and training highly qualified specialists.
The first research laboratory for blockchain studies was opened in Russia In 2015 at Perm State National Research University (PSNRU), the university-leader of the emerging Consortium.
For several years Perm State University has been conducting fundamental and applied studies in the area of blockchain technology in cooperation with its strategic partner, the international fin-tech corporation Lykke.
Currently, Descrow participate in the Consortium formed by the PSNRU as one of the leading partners in such activities as arranging network research studies, preparing educational programs and supporting innovative startups in the area of blockchain technology in the following main directions:
- scaling of distributed ledger technology;
- anonymity of transactions;
- consensus-building methods;
- personal identification in the network;
- blockchain technologies for managing digital assets in production;
- decentralized confirmation of the digital content transfer between independent units;
- escrow services;
- management of intellectual property;
- application of distributed ledger technology in procurements.
The Consortium participates in the tender announced by JSC “Russian Venture Company” for the creation of the NTI Center in the nomination “blockchain technology”. The participants from the academic and business parts of the Consortium include representatives of several countries and 40 universities, educational and research organizations, industrial and innovative companies and more than 100,000 students from several regions of Russia, Europe and Asia.
