Russian projects take one-tenth of the total ICO market
According to media statistics, one out of five ICOs, that have raised over a million dollars, have been launched by Russians. In total, Russian teams have collected more than $260 million via ICOs, which is 11% of the total ICO market. The most famous include the supercomputer SONM ($42 mln), Internet Bank Polibius ($31 mln) and RMC miners ($45 mln).
The share of failed ICOs or scam projects in total Russian ICO market remains a mystery. However, the use of the decentralized escrow technology in ICOs will significantly reduce the number of failures and minimize investors risks.
