The head of the porn startup Fantasy Market ran away after the ICO with $4.4 mln

The New York Post reports that a Fantasy Market startup founder Jonathan Lucas has disappeared with the money raised during the ICO — a sum of about $4.4 mln.

Fantasy Market offered to purchase FMtoken — FM users had to pay with them for online viewing of porntubes. The projects hardcap was $25 mln: that is the amount Lucas originally planned to attract to the project.

The details of an ICO have not been announced yet, but even if it will turn out that the organizer`s reputation was quite clean, if using the decentralized escrow tool, the investors would be able to get back a large part of invested funds, and maybe all of them.
