A globular cluster might be a place where it resides
Appearing from close unexpected sides
As always a pleasant surprise
Is it a feeling or the fame
The lights or the stage
The heights or the page
Or the glory or the praise?
Is it what puts smiles on our face or something we never embrace
Too long a subject often misunderstood or a loss to be understood
Does it unveil it’s prowess or disappears in our vision of its commonness
Do we know what it takes or perhaps an illusion of our own take?
Is it the eminence of an emperor
Or the brilliance of a professor
Is it a mark of mastery
Or a touch of artistry
Is it simplicity or complexity
Is it humanity or entirely divinity
Is it collectivity or individuality
A stroke of luck or a path of destiny?
A journey of uncertainty it always is
A solitary one it seems sometimes
A challenging one it feels everytime
But surely, a rewarding one in a long run
It’s beauty with modesty.
It’s science with humanity.
It’s relationship with understanding.
It’s religion with morality.
It’s business with conscience.
It’s politics with principles.
It’s existence with compromise.
And unity in diversity.
Nonetheless, it’s nothing but virtue
It’s nothing but hope.
It’s nothing but faith.
It’s nothing but love.
Greatness is not what we do, it’s who we’re
It’s not a question of what, it’s a question of how
If a question of where, it’s around.
And if a question of when, it’s always now.
Greatness is not how tall, wide or small, it’s about uniqueness.
Greatness is not just feel, sight or touch but beauty in everything.
It’s not in some of us, it’s in all of us.
And thus, greatness is not what we do, it’s who we’re.
