Pick up your cakes at the right time!

At Dessert Rose, we make a lot of customized cakes. We always request the customers to place their orders well in advance so that we can cater to all their customisations. Whenever we receive a cake order, we ask the customers at what time they want us to keep the cake ready. Once they mention their convenient time for pickup, we make all the efforts to keep it ready on time (we are punctual like that).

Here is something which many bakers don’t discuss often- once the cake is ready, we cannot put it back into the refrigerator because it might spoil all the customisations (especially the fondant work). We request the customers to pick up their cakes on time so that the cake stays intact along with all the customisations. It’s not good if the cake is kept out for too long once it is ready.

Scheduling the right pickup time is important. The right time to pick up the cake is one hour before the cake cutting. If you stay close-by our outlet, you could probably pick up your cakes just half an hour before the cake cutting (the perks of living in Banashankari).
