What do we do at Dessert Rose?
We have a variety of desserts on display for walk-in customers. We have cookies, cupcakes, macarons, tea cakes, doughnuts, tarts, pies, dessert jars, brownies, fondue and beverages, etc under one roof. We’re also planning to include some savoury items to our menu.
Though we have a set menu, we love to experiment. If a customer asks for a particular dessert which is not part of our menu, we still take up the order and bake that dessert. We’ve baked desserts like Japanese Cake, Bakalava, Dark Chocolate Fudge, etc for customers on request.
We get a lot of orders for customised cakes. We can do any customisation that will put a smile on the customer’s face. We make sugar-free, vegan, keto and gluten-free cakes as well. We believe it’s important to understand customer’s requirements. Once customer’s requirement is understood, half the work is done.
We are tied up with event management companies. Through them, we put up desserts tables at birthday parties and mehendi functions. We ensure that our desserts go well with the theme of the party/function.
We conduct baking classes every week. Four varities of desserts are taught in every baking class. We limit the number of participants to only four in each session for better focus. Every week different desserts are taught which encourages the participants to attend our classes on a regular basis. We provide all the ingredients required for the baking class, we also give printed recipes and the participants take back home whatever they bake in class. Our classes are designed in such a way that even participants who have no prior baking experience can still bake.
We have built a community of bakers from South Bengaluru. The main motive of this community is to stand up for each other in case of any need or emergency. We are trying to add more bakers to this community so that our network becomes strong.
