I don’t know about everyone else but I laughed out loud the whole way through this. Then again, I have a dozen or so non-family members in my life whom I have known since childhood that have proven time and time again that they can be depended upon. I’m guess I’m lucky that way. I’m not looking for validation from quasi-strangers on social media, so maybe I’m reading this with a level of detached amusement that most people simply don’t have.

I imagine that if I was reading this as one of you vapid rubes who lives a life full of empty “networked” relationships, but devoid of actual “personal” connections, I would find this a lot less funny.
