Beloved Brothers and Sisters,

Alhamdulillah! Glorified and Exalted is Allah Whom helped us witness the beginning and end of the holy month. When we started the daily newsletter series, we had just one thing in mind — to be positive. We never thought we were going to make it through all days of the month. Since the hopes were high with ecstasy, we need Talkless Do More. After the first ten days, the law of diminishing returns set in. This we’d have to deal with in the coming days. Hence, the need to be steadfast.

Oh Muslims! Be mindful of Allah and you will find Allah sufficient for you. Do not relent to push forth good deeds as the reward for good deeds are in manifolds. Remember fasting is a shield, so follow-up your Ramadan with six days fast in Sha’waal and earn the reward of a lifetime.

Indeed, Ramadan has come and gone. Now the onus is upon us to solidify the foundation of faith and affirm the pillars. Be prepared this may be very difficult for the shayateeen have been let loose; save for the one who keeps a pure heart. Now the time is right for us to believe in Allah and hold firmly to the rudiments of the 'deen' because this deen is excellent.

Brace up! For the coming days may arrive with different challenges — so embrace righteousness in totality. Ensure you follow the messenger in all endeavours and you’d find satisfaction in all ramifications. Make a pure livelihood because we are a reflection of what we eat. And Allah accepts nothing from you, except that which is pure.

My fellow brethren, remember this deen is sincerity. So it’s your responsibility to call to goodness and forbid evil. In the cause of your daily hustles, make sure you avoid doubtful matters and in all facets. Earn Allah’s love when you seek forgiveness through repentance. And always bare in mind that bashfulness is a virtue.

Allah has been so merciful to you: enjoy His bounty, avoid oppression and shun innovation. You will remain formidable if you be brothers. Above all, live life like a stranger and strive your utmost to be the best of you.

Your brother,

‘DNES'
