But, about the Technology x Jobs topic, i think the path won’t be so simple as it may seem. While the equation tells us that we will lose some kind of jobs, but in favor to gain new ones, it should consider better what type of jobs we are talking about. Let’s suppose that the amount of jobs that is now gone is just the same as the new jobs offers. It would be perfect. But, what if all those closed jobs were filled by low skilled workers while all the new ones targets people with a higher level of education. People wouldn’t be able to just trade one for another. Is not just so simple and pretty as it would be on a chart focused solely on numbers of jobs offers. Some economists are worried, including a Nobel prize winner, see:
