December was a packed month of milestones and work! The end of the year is here and boy did the DigiByte community step it up. It has been amazing to see all the accomplishments and the momentum heading into 2023. DigiByte turns 9 years old on January 10, 2023. Let’s make it another solid year. Onwards and upwards!
Milestones/News:
1.CoinDCX has listed DigiByte. It is worth noting that we are a coin and not a token.
2.Now Wallet has added DigiByte to their platform. The blockchain continues to be a popular choice and this is great to see.
3.Arctic Wallet held an AMA with the DigiByte community to answers questions and get feedback about their wallet offering. Nice to see engagement and thought provoking discussion.
4.LCX exchange is now offering a DGB/USDC pairing on their platform which is a great option for DigiByte community members.
5.Securus Wallet did a thorough overview on Digi-ID and how it is a great secondary layer for security. Highly recommend reading this.
6.NowPayments continues to showcase DigiByte and the different ways you can use it for your business.
7.The DigiByte Alliance provided an update and are now registered in 41 states and the District of Columbia. They also shared their slide deck and other interesting nuggets from their Discord meetings. Wonderful progress and the community will be interested to continue learning about what’s next.
8.The DigiByte Foundation had a few highlights this month. They entered into a partnership with LCX to help provide additional exposure for the blockchain. In addition, they hosted a Twitter Space AMA with Crypto Miners. You can learn more here.
9.DigiCorp Labs announced a partnership with Shell Oil to help create a use case with data management. You can learn more on their post.
10.The DigiMetaverse Show did an interview with the NowNodes team. They cover new features, specific discussion on nodes and lots more.
11.DigiByte continues to be one of the most consistent and active chains on Messari. Their platform also shows that there are over 1 million active DigiByte addresses. Isn’t that amazing?
12.The Great Moonshot did an informative thread on DigiByte on their Advent Calendar. Appreciate the support.
13.Michael Romero is back with his DigiByte monthly update videos for anyone that needs a refresher or missed anything. This one covers two months.
14.Nice discussion on some of the blockchain projects that have long term sustainability in our uncertain times, which includes DigiByte.
15.Thank you to the Decred community for collaborating with in figuring out how to have DigiByte listed on the Decred Dex. It is a work in progress but beautiful to see people working together towards a solution.

19.Insider Crypto, The Coin Republic and Coin Controversy posted a few articles regarding DigiByte and it’s future. Nice to continue seeing exposure for DigiByte.
20.Thank you to community member Daniel Beggs for running mainnet and testnet nodes for DigiByte over the years.
