The New Year is here and DigiByte continues to keep making things happen. DigiByte celebrated its 8th anniversary on January 10, 2014. It is a testament to how we continue to be sustainable and here for the long term. The development process is ongoing and there are other great additions that are showing continued growth in the ecosystem. Thank you to all the efforts by dedicated community members to spread the word. None of this would be possible without you. Let’s keep the positive vibes going!
Milestones/News:
1.Vauld has listed DigiByte on their platform. They have integration with over 200+ assets.
2.VarenX now allows cross chain swaps and renDGB is included! Another great way to get involved in the Defi space.
3.NowPayments did a couple nice articles on how DigiByte can help boost your business and the various value add propositions of the blockchain.
4.Guarda Wallet put on a giveaway where you can learn more about their services. Great way to continue promoting DigiByte.
5.Catalyx Exchange, which is a Canadian exchange, has DigiByte available for its users as well. More options available to buy and sell DigiByte!
6.SwapZone continues to deliver great content regarding DigiByte and engaging the community. Their support has been fantastic.
7.The newly proposed DigiByte Improvement Proposal (DIP) is on Github. This is a great step forward to create a more standardized process for proposing changes to the protocol.
8.There were several great development updates by Yoshi Jaeger, which helps summarize where we are in the process of v8.22.
9.There was a To Do list released that has everything we need before the 8.22 beta client launch. A call to all community members and developers to help with testing so we can get this out!
10.The first Galactic Credit comic book assets are available via DigiAssetX. Nice to see various NFT and assets getting launched.
11.The new DigiAsset beta is out. Download a node or even help test.
12.McTrivia did a nice video on how to set up and run a DigiassetX node while earning DigiByte! Nice and easy to understand.
13.The DigiByte Alliance is now a member of the Wyoming Business Alliance. This a great step to getting exposure and building roots in the Wyoming community which is heavily favored towards the growth of blockchain.
14.Lifehash has announced the launch of their Evidential Chain. You can read more about it on their post below.
15.DigiCorp developer Yoshi Jaeger talks about the DGMV smart layer and how it can benefit DigiByte.
16.The DigiByte community Discord has a channel for merchants that are currently or wanting to accept DigiByte. This is a great way for the merchant to get additional education out about their business.
17.Mike Tha Investor had Jared Tate on his show and there were some great nuggets on them. Check it out if you haven’t done so or need a recap.
18.There was DigiByte livestream for the 8th anniversary that took place. Good way to unify community members, talk about future growth and other items.

23.Developer Renzo Diaz did an excellent tutorial on how to you use the DigiWallet terminal to manage your DigiByte.
24.There was a DigiByte community call via Discord that helped connect members and was a way to brainstorm about how to strategize, engage and grow the blockchain.
25.A great find by Michelle of the DigiByte Alliance on an article that shows how DigiByte checks the boxes for all the respective cybersecurity properties.
