Project Manager : Multichannel Retailer

This leading Multichannel Retailer is looking for a Project Manager to join their Head Office team. The Project Manager will report into the IT Director and work closely with the Head of Programme Delivery to create and deliver on important IT projects for the brands Head of Office and Retail stores. The role is an exciting position within a successful brand who have ambitious growth plans.

This is what you’ll be doing:

  • Creating and delivering project work plans and to meet changing needs and requirements for the business. For example, business and software applications for a retail head office environment.
  • Mentoring a more junior Project Manager who is working on stock management and eCommerce order management systems – both new functionality and testing.
  • Work with 3rd party suppliers to define and document questions, liaise with business via email, IM or phone to get new requirements and explain feasibility.
  • Submits project status reports to relevant stakeholders; reviews bugs; plans software releases; anticipates and reacts to change

Example Projects:

  • Implementing a new stock management system. Delivery of a new eCommerce order management system. Scoping requirements and managing the launch of 3 new Websites. Facilitating same day delivery project plan. Testing of new EPOS systems.

This is the experience you’ll need:

  • Demonstrable Project Management experience covering the creation of business applications for a reputable Retail brand or in a fast moving Head office environment.
