We spent the past week fine tuning and identifying what we need to bring Digix to the next level, and some of the first few hires have already been identified. We will release more information as soon as they join the Digix family.
Stanford Symposium (Sept 5th)
Digix was invited to present at the Stanford Symposium. Professors Balaji Prabhakar and Mendel Rosenblum (VMWare founder) kindly invited Digix to speak about their innovations on the blockchain, together with Zilliqa and Clockchain.
We also hosted an event with Kenetic Capital on August 30th on “Institutionalizing Crypto Assets”. The event was held at Singapore’s Paypal offices, and was well attended by crypto funds, family offices, institutional traders, and crypto traders.
Why were we hosting this event with Kenetic?
We are planting the seeds and working towards a future where DGX is a product that will be comfortably held internationally, be it the common folk on the street looking to save some wealth in gold, to the family offices who seeks a safe and sound, hassle free solution in owning 21st century gold.
Events that Digix is speaking / moderating during blockchain week
The week of Sep 17th to 21st is Blockchain Week in Singapore. Several events are held during this period, notably, Consensus Singapore 2018 (Sept 19–20), and of course, one of which is co-hosted by Digix on Sept 18.
Immutable Conference — Sept 18
This half-day event combines industry panels and technology presentations intended to connect blockchain companies with professional peers, investors and government officials seeking to be more involved in the blockchain community.
Emergence Singapore — Sept 21
